Kid-Alt-Dub. A Dubstep/Electro trio Hailing from the shire of Leicester, England, UK. Exclusively signed to legendary underground music label Formation records they are Producers of hi- energy/dancefloor/club-step/bass music in the region of 140bpm. With both sides of there first single (“love” and “let me c u”) being absolutely cained by dubstep don, DJ Plastician (rinse fm) and Mista Jam (BBC 1xtra) you can expect to hear a lot more from theses versatile sub-junkies.

Kid-alt-dub aka Chance Newton-Smith and brothers Marc and Michael Highton have been producing and djing together for around 2years but have been involved in underground music for much longer.

Marc and Michael, under the drum and bass alias Recka’n'Clash, had there music supported by some of dnb’s biggest djs including Grooverider, Crissy Criss, G-Dub, DJSS, Kenny Ken. Chance had worked as a promoter/dj for some of Leicester’s biggest clubs. After spending nearly 24/7 either in the studio or reading music theory/technology books they felt that there music was ready to be sent out. DJSS quickly saw potential in there early productions and snapped them up. Now with an exclusive deal on a record label that has been home to some of dnbs most prolific producers (original sin, sub zero, twisted individual, Zen, modified motion, hazard, djss) the trio are ready to bring a fresh sound to the historic label.
