Marcus Visionary has been in the music industry for over two decades. He has played a pivotal role in the development of the Toronto jungle drum and bass scene but has also successfully ventured into other bass culture genres as a dj, producer and event promoter He has hosted the Prophecy radio show for over 16 years from his start at CKLIN 88.1 in 1994 to his move to CIUT 89.5 F.M in 1995 with partner Dj Prime.  The program is North Americas longest running Jungle Drum and Bass radio show. Production wise Marcus has worked for labels such as: Digital Soundboy, 31 Records, Revolver, Trouble On Vinyl, Xtinction Agenda, Play Musik, Horizon, Shout, Flex, On Point, Hustlin Beats, Co-Lab, Pure Vibes, Rocksteady, Dance Rock and currently co runs Liondub International with Eric Weiss (Liondub) N.Y.C. His latest label project ’Inner City Dance’ will be run with longtime friend Dj Lush. 2010 was a massive year for Marcus as he released 4 EP’s, several singles and a massive double album entitled ’Carib’ which held steady at #1 on the Juno Sales Chart for 6 weeks.  His Jungle LP entitled ‘Humble’ will be released on January 1st 2011 via Liondub International worldwide. ‘Humble’ boasts a heavyweight lineup featuring legendary reggae artists such as Johnny Osbourne, Sugar Minott, Bunny General, Pad Anthony, Jah Dan, Messenger Selah, Robert Levy and Terry Ganzie.  Currently Marcus is working on new music and remixes for artists such as; Jah Cure, Beenie Man, Elephant Man, Cutty Ranks, John Wayne, David Boomah and more. On top of his work for his label Liondub, Marcus is very fortunate to be a part of the Digital Soundboy family.  This is just the beginning for Marcus as he is determined to get his unique sound out to the world.
