UMC and Champions join forces
UMC Management are delighted to announce that we will be working alongside Leicestershire-based music agency Champions Music & Entertainment in a joint partnership.
As part of the agreement we will share resources and work together to promote our clients and bring them increased exposure, which will translate to more bookings and ultimately more success for them.
Champions can boast arguably one of the most prized assets in the music booking business – Alan Warner FEAA, the president of the Agents Association of Great Britain and an individual with decades of experience in the music industry.
UMC are expanding from drum and bass to the entire urban music scene, and we are pleased to work alongside a company that has dozens of talented R&B, hip-hop, reggae and soul singers in their repertoire.
One such individual is Andy Abraham, runner-up in the second series of The X Factor in 2005 and the UK entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. A soulful crooner who specialises in R&B and Motown anthems, his first two albums were certified Platinum and Gold respectively.
Champions can also count on the talents of Faith Tucker, a young solo artist who, despite being just 15 years old, boasts a potent soprano voice and stage presence of someone twice her age and experience, as demonstrated by her performance at the Rugby World Cup opening gala in London.
In addition, Champions have one of the most successful X Factor winners of all time on their books – none other than Sam Bailey, who triumphed in 2013 before bagging a number 1 song with Skyscraper, a number 1 album in The Power of Love, and even supported Beyonce on one of the dates of her UK leg of The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.
We cannot wait to work alongside Champions Music & Entertainment and are confident that 2016 will bring both companies unprecedented success.
