Flawless was founded by Marlon “Swoosh” Wallen in 2004 and went public in 2005. Music and Dance has always been his heart and passion since the tender age of 4. Marlon’s early influences included Michael Jackson, James Brown, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, The Nicholas Brothers and a host of other naturally gifted performers.
Marlon’s dream has been to mirror his influences and become a major director – choreographer – performer with the aim to inspire people with his creativity and passion for dance.
Marlon’s aim was to present a different vision for an entertainer’s lifestyle and successfully achieved such, as for more than a decade, Flawless have been turning street dance on its head – and not just with all their upside down spectacular spinning but more so by having exceptional technical abilities as well as a charismatic approach and a razor sharp sense of style, Flawless have and are continuing to make a tremendous contribution to the evolution of dance.
Their sophisticated and mature execution has always enabled them to stand out from everyone else! Since starring on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 as well as becoming a house hold name, Flawless have appeared in smash hit movies Street Dance 3D 1 & 2, headlined for the Royal Family performing at the Queens Diamond Jubilee concert alongside Kylie Minogue, Performed for the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympics, heated things up with the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing professionals, and made history collaborating with the exceptional English National Ballet.

Pure branded albums have been at the forefront of UK dance music since the groundbreaking first album released in early 2000. They are officially the biggest selling urban/dance album branded albums in the UK ever. The brand has gone on to sell in excess of an incredible 5 million units across the album series! Having collected over 50 Gold and Platinum discs, the albums have been the soundtrack to millions of dance music fans and regularly sells out branded events nationwide.
In January 2000, Warner Music chose Kiss 100’s DJ EZ to mix Pure Garage, a new garage compilation CD. The album went on to receive platinum record sales and peaked at number 2 on the UK national compilation chart. The Pure series is the most acknowledged and best-selling UK garage compilation series to date. The series has sold over 2 million records. Rewind Back to the Old Skool was released on 3 December 2007; after just two weeks on sale it had already earned itself gold disc status with over 100,000 copies sold. The Very Best of Pure Garage, released on 1 December 2008, is the first Pure Garage CD that was mixed by Matt “Jam” Lamont. In March 2011, a new compilation was released, “Anthems”, mixed by Jason Kaye of Top Buzz.
